Biography
Alvia Harold Casteel Alvia is my grandfather everyone called him Pops. He had a son Alvia Harold Casteel II. And two grandkids. Me Teisha May Casteel and my brother Alvia Harold Casteel III.I know he was born in Nebraska in 1907. Lived in Reno Nevada for along time. He was a sue chef for the Harolds Club downtown Reno and then a sue Chef at the Sierra Sids 76 station until he retired. He lived with my dad and us since I was 4 till I was 11. He was a real awesome man. He was a quite man with a huge heart. My dad and him were extremely close.He was a great dad to my dad. He was married at one time to Shirley Casteel. She was well sorry to say no good. Bad mother wife and grandma. Thank god my grandfather was there to raise my dad. He last lived at 1913 Wilder St. Reno Nevada 89431. He always dressed in suit pants and dress shirts and shoes never saw him in anything else.He passed away on his birthday. He took a shower got all dressed up in his suit. Went to take a nap before he went out and passed away on his sleep. That day was the worst day of my father's life. He was never the same again. My father passed away at 42 Years old. On January 13 1998. They are back together again. I love and terribly miss them both with all my HEART and soul. Thank you Pops for being you. I wouldn't and couldn't ask for a better grandpa.I will see you both one day and reunite. Till then keep a watch over us. And I had two boys Tai Eastman Jr. Now 19 and Damion Alvia Casteel now 14. Yes grandpa and dad they have the same father. I just wanted to keep the Casteel name going. Wish you both could have met them there great kids.Rest in peace and whoop it up from time to time. Cheers Pops. Gone but never ever forgotten.💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙 P.s. I'm a terrible cook. Lol but you know that. You and dad probably just shaking your heads at me.

I amalvia harold casteel the 1st granddaughter.... he lived with my father me brother and step mother. he died in our house in his sleep on his birthday. contact me asap please. indica.love@yahoo.com even better here is my phone # 541-408-0331...we lived in reno nevada 1913 wilder st. reno nevada 89502 is where he passed away in his sleep. we had a funeral and burial for him and i do not recognize any of your names nor did i ever ever see any one of his family members visit him. who even went to his funeral? i did open casket
