Michael Laska was my great grandfather. He married his wife, Katarzyna "Katherine" Maksymczuk in Poland and then immigrated to the US. He passed away 3 years before my birth. God Bless Grandpa. Know that you are not forgotten.

Katherine was my great grandma. She was born Katarzyna Maksymczuk in Poland. She married Michael Laska, had two sons, came to East Chicago, IN, and had 7 more children... including my grandmother. I met her. She only spoke polish to me. I respect both of my grandparents for making the step to immigrate to the US. God Bless Grandma. Rest in peace and know that you are not forgotten.
