Lived most of his life in NYS, singing in nightclubs in NY/Long Island, selling cars, bartending at Pierce's Restaurant in Elmira Heights from around 1960 to 1982, then moving to California to be with Maxine Schaffer in Menlo Park. Died of complications from leukemia. Survived by Patricia Daw of first wife, Lenore (last known in CA, married to Dreyfus). Seven children by Dorothy (Connor) Daw: Michael William Daw, Dorie Louise (Daw) Robinson, Suellen Marie (Daw) Durfey, Mark Warren Daw, Darcy Maureen (Daw) Cistaro, Nancy Jo (Daw) Kane (later married to John Richard Fracchia), Kelly Marlene (Daw) Walker. Remains of Al Daw cremated, buried by a tree overlooking the Pacific Ocean. None of his children by Dorothy could afford to attend his burial, so none ever found out where it happened. His various residences in NYS included Cazenovia, Watkins Glen, Elmira, and Elmira Heights.
